Card Grading Calculator

Grading can multiply a card's value — or lock in a loss. This free tool weighs the odds and the costs so you can see, in numbers, whether to grade your card or sell it raw.

35%
Simplified model: it assumes the card grades either a 10 (at your odds) or a 9 (the rest of the time). Real submissions can come back lower, so treat the result as a favourable-case guide and shade your odds down if condition is uncertain.

How to read the result

The calculator computes your expected graded value — the value of a 10 and a 9 weighted by your odds — then subtracts the grading cost and compares it to selling raw. It also shows the break-even probability: the minimum chance of a 10 at which grading just matches selling raw. If your realistic odds sit comfortably above that number, grading is favourable; if they're below it, sell raw.
